“There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practised, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave” – Dale Carneige

Quite true, isn’t it? Sometimes we don’t actually deliver what we intend to say when it comes to public speaking. And how helpful it would be if we can practise and get a critism before presenting a speech in front of a large audience? here, at 99X Technology we do this with our “Geek Masters Club”, another interesting initiative to improve soft skills of Xians.
Last week we had Geek Master’s session with many interesting speeches and games. After an interesting warm up speech game, Dileepa conducted a technical session addressing “Adapting View Models for OS X” which was very informative. Afterwards, Frank expressed his own personal experience on “Best advice I got”, saying how we should maintain the balance between many tasks and achieve more.
It was nice to see everyone appreciating and commenting, providing a real feedback on their presentation. The session concluded with few exciting impromptu speech challenges by Suranga.

Geek Masters Club is indeed very supportive for Xians to improve their soft skills while having precise and eloquent speech.
